Reason the product is recalled

The heater does not meet the Australian standards for the maximum allowable carbon monoxide emission levels. Air channels above the burner deform when heated which can cause toxic levels of carbon monoxide to be emitted.

The hazards to consumers

There is a risk of serious illness, injury or death from carbon monoxide poisoning if the heater is used indoors or in a poorly ventilated area.

What consumers should do

Stop using the affected heater immediately. If possible, consumers should turn off the gas supply to appliance.

Consumers should contact Airatherm Pty Ltd with their name, site address, model number, and whether the model is indoor or outdoor, to arrange for a free replacement or rectification.

We’re thrilled to share that Caravan and Camping SA is teaming up with Onsite Weighbridge to host the Think! Road Safety RV Weigh Day on Wednesday, 13 November, 2024, at the Adelaide Showground.

We aim to weigh a total of 30 vehicles and caravans throughout the day. Each weigh-in will take approximately 30 minutes, and every vehicle/caravan combination will receive a concise report.

The Details:

• A fee of $50.00 secures your 30-minute weigh analysis and a condensed report.
• Sessions will take place at the Adelaide Showground (Wayville Pavilion) from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• You’ll receive two complimentary tickets for the 2025 Let's Go Caravan Camping & Outdoor Show, happening from February 26 to March 2.
• Gain insights from towing experts.
• You’ll also have the chance to book a more in-depth session with Onsite Weighbridge at a discounted rate in the future.
